Sing out
Under the Sun and Moon, gather Manna from above Every sweet meadow Resonates the joy of life. |
Sit in the shade if you have any sense
Under a tree, or next to a fence Mop your face and give it a rinse Maybe it will be autumn soon - Every year the warm season gets warmer. Rebel Dixie's got heatstroke and we're too tired to mourn 'er. |
Snows are gone. Welcoming sands
urge bathers to darken their winter's ecru. Midsummer heat melts to fall's calm Making each day a comforting balm. Each day a click of earth's clock, true reckoning our years to spill, sift, pour. |
Screen time, a break from
Utter insanity. Counting the Minutes between shouts of MOM! Then to the park for Entirely too much sun. Round em up - is it bedtime yet? |
